FEET (Free Early Education for Two Year olds) Funding:
Please follow this link for full details on FEET funding.
Paid for places in our nursery:
Should you wish for your child to start at our Nursery before their 3rd birthday, the cost would be £18 per three hour session per day.
Please note that, while most of our Nursery children do join our Reception class, attendance at the Nursery does not mean that your child automatically transfers to the school’s Reception class. You would still need to make an application to apply through Surrey County Council Admissions (see below).
Joining the Infant School
Surrey County Council is the admission authority for this school. To find up to date information about the school's admission arrangements and details on how to apply, either as part of the normal intake or during the school year, please follow this link to the Surrey County Council website.
The closing date for admissions to our Reception Class in September 2020 is 15 January 2020. You will be able to apply online (via the Surrey website, following the link above) or if you are unable to apply online you can complete a paper parental preference form obtainable by emailing email@example.com or telephoning 0300 200 1015, asking for a primary form.
For entry to school at any other time or into Year 1 or 2 you need to complete an In Year Application Form, also available from the Surrey County Council website. Please see this.
Please see below to view the Determination of Surrey’s school admission arrangements for community and voluntary controlled schools for September 2019.
If you are thinking of applying for a place for your child at Hurst Green Infant School and Nursery we would love to see you at one of our Open Mornings or you may telephone the school at anytime to arrange a tour of the school. You will be able to observe a normal day in the classroom and see how we care, learn and achieve together. You will then have the opportunity to ask any questions over a cup of tea or coffee with the Head Teacher. Please call the School Office on 01883 712171 to arrange a convenient time and day for your visit.
