Lynne Curtis: I have taught in a wide range of schools, both in the state and the private sector, in London and in Surrey, full time, part-time and as a supply teacher.  Over the years I have taught children of all abilities, from Reception age to Year 6, and for the five years before I retired I was a Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator. 

I am married and have two grown-up children, a son and a daughter, in their early thirties and four grandchildren.  I have lived in Hurst Green for 37 years.  Soon after my first child was born I set up a tutorial agency which I ran from home in my spare time and which I have been running ever since.

Nicole Edmondson: Nicole Edmondson joined the Governing Body as a parent governor in 2017. She works at the Bank of England and has a PhD in English Literature. She also worked at the Institute of Education for 10 years, where she published academic research in the areas of education and social science.

Katherine Saunders: Katherine Saunders has lived in the area with her husband and four children for nearly thirty years. She works locally as a breastfeeding counsellor and is Chair of Oxted Parish Council, serving on the Grant Aid and Planning sub-committees. Katherine is a Trustee of The Robert Bouffler Music Trust and volunteers at Chartwell in her spare time.

Victoria Deakin: I currently have a child at the school (Year 1) and one who has recently left and was keen to give something back to the school by becoming a parent governor. I have had experience of working with children as a former Brownie leader and bringing STEM into schools within my job. 

As a Coastal Engineer and Project Manager, I have developed key skills that will support this role including data analysis, budgeting, planning, evaluation of projects, health and safety and working in a team. I feel my professional skills, combined with my passion will allow me to make a difference to the school.
