Joining the Nursery

To register your child for a place at our nursery, please contact the School Office for an application form by telephoning 01883 712171 or by emailing us at office@hurstgreenschool.org or you can download a form at the bottom of the page. Please complete both the application form and the supplementary information form.

FEET (Free Early Education for Two Year Olds) Funding:

You would need to apply to Surrey County Council to check you are definitely eligible by completing an application form or going to the online parent portal.

Paid for places in our nursery:

Should you wish for your child to start at our Nursery before their 3rd birthday, the cost would be £15 per three hour session per day.

Please note that, while most of our Nursery children do join our Reception class, attendance at the Nursery does not mean that your child automatically transfers to the school’s Reception class. You would still need to make an application through Surrey County Council Admissions (see below).

Joining the Infant School

The closing date for admissions to our Reception Class in September 2024 is 15 January 2024. You will be able to apply online (via the Surrey website, following the link above) or if you are unable to apply online you can complete a paper parental preference form obtainable by telephoning 0300 200 1004, asking for a primary form.

If you are thinking of applying for a place for your child at Hurst Green Infant School and Nursery we would love to see you at one of our Open Mornings or you may telephone the school at anytime to arrange a tour of the schoolYou will be able to observe a normal day in the classroom and see how we care, learn and achieve together. You will then have the opportunity to ask any questions over a cup of tea or coffee with the Head Teacher. Please call the School Office on 01883 712171 to arrange a convenient time and day for your visit.
